Lost My Camera ...

but all is not lost. We all went on a family camp last weekend with our church to Mt Fuji and I managed to lose our camera. But I have discovered that I can take pretty good pictures with my cell phone, email them to myself and then post them on the blog. Here's one of Clair in front of Mt Fuji. I still hadn't quite figured out how to take pictures with my phone so you can only see the top of her head but it's a pretty nice shot of Fuji.

The kids had a great time on the retreat. Henry loved being able to play with friends and Clair spent the afternoon on Saturday crawling all over the grass. We stopped by the Fuji Safari Park on the way home which was a lot of fun. It's a drive-through zoo and we saw lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants, etc up really close.

The other big news of the week was that we picked up Henry's new bicycle. It's really cool with 7 gears, a headlight, a bell, a basket and a key to lock the back tire. He has been taking daily bike rides around Tokyo. At the moment, I walk along side him but eventually we'll get to the point where I can put baby Clair on the back of my bike and we can ride together.
